Onomatopoeia

Learnt a new word today- 'Onomatopoeia'- this is a word or sometimes, grouping of words, which actually imitates the sound that it is describing. Therefore, it suggests the source. For example, 'buzz', 'smash','sizzle' etc.
Example of sentences:
The buzz of bees increased as he appraoched the beehive.
She squealed in astonishment.

Very Interesting. Learnt this from a mail that I got at work today.

English is definitely an interesting language!
